Jose Olaf Valencia Islas is an Agricultural Mechanical Engineer (B.S. 2013) who graduated with a Ph.D. (2022) in Agricultural Engineering and Use of Water from the University of Chapingo in Mexico and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is in charge of research with tomatoes under greenhouses at the Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (University of Arizona), focusing on modeling and instrumentation. His main interests are in mathematical modeling and control of biosystems.
