Advancing CEA through Data-driven Decision Making and Workforce Development
This collaborative research and extension programs funded by USDA NIFA Specialty Crop Research Initiative is to assist U.S. growers to create the most ideal crop growing environment using real-time data and AI-based climate optimization processes. Our specific objectives are:
1️⃣ Develop a data- and model-driven decision-making platform
2️⃣ Validate the efficacy of new decision making methods in various climate regions and controlled environment systems
3️⃣ Understand the socioeconomics of greenhouse technology adaptation
4️⃣ Engage stakeholders through professional learning opportunities for workforce development
